We automatically choose the highest converting complimentary  product and offer it as a 1 click upsell AFTER the checkout page. If the customer chooses to accept the upsell, we charge the customer, and you earn additional profit with doin no extra work.  

Currently upsells are not something you can choose or turn off. But it is a non intrusive way to earn more without affecting the converion
